Service Description
First Aid Training Course (Tier I) VIRTUAL EVENT- $25/person - group and organizational rates available. In Tier I we teach our audience beyond the basics of first aid. This course provides specialized and in-depth training that meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.151(b) for all professions. Within all Tiers of our course, our audience is led by a First Aid expert(s) with experience teaching how to mitigate the risks exacerbating the injury or death. Prerequisite:None Program Rewards: Bronze Certificate of Completion (1-year expiration) After 3-years of consecutive completion, the Certificate will be updated to silver Bronze Virtual Badge and Physical Badge After 3-years of consecutive completion, the badges will be upgraded to silver Meets OSHA’s Requirement within US 29 CFR 1910.151(b) for First Aid Training Program Specifics: ~60-90 minutes in length, including Q&A Applicable to all professional demographics After completing the course participants will understand: Employer Requirements within U.S. Code of Federal Regulation (US 29 CFR 1910.151(b)) to provide a safe work environment in regard to First Aid Training, Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, And More! Resource Utilization to prevent exacerbation of injuries and save lives Components of a First Aid Kit Scene Safety Injury Identification and Treatment Triage: Head, Neck, & Spine, Internal (Torso vs. Peripheral), External (burns, cuts, lacerations), Gastrointestinal, Poison/Toxin, Shock and Heat Exhaustion, General requirements of OSHA's First Aid Standard We can consult during your scheduled CPR/AED/Heimlich Training as we are not yet set up to deliver these services. * If registering as an individual, events will be scheduled once 10 participants are enrolled
